Tens of thousands without power, hundreds evacuated as new fires e

But where I’m at, somewhere between Salinas & Santa Barbara on the 101, it is is calm and a cold 42, I could use a little fire. All yesterday driving south it has been hazy & smelled like smoky caramel. I’ll look at a map to avoid fire areas.
